This Chicken Parmesan is one of my kids favorite meals! I love it because it’s super easy, cheap, filling, and can be served different ways. As a mom with lots of kids to feed, I’m always looking for bulk chicken breast packages at the grocery store. Luckly, a few weeks ago I was able to stock my freezer from a sale! Here is the easy recipe.
Chicken Breast 3-4lbs
Box Panko Bread Crumbs
8 ozParmesan Cheese
Silced Provolone Cheese
Spaghetti Sauce 24-45 oz (depending on how many you are cooking for. We use 45oz for 8 people)
Salt and Pepper
As a busy mom, planning is extremely important to make our evenings less stressful! When I buy my bulk chicken breast I always put some in a freezer bag with Italian dressing. It’s a great easy and quick marinade perfect for this recipe.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
I slice the chicken breast into thinner pieces so their not so thick. If you didn’t marinate your chicken, don’t worry. You can dip your chicken into milk or Italian dressing after their cut. Add bread crumbs and shredded parmesan cheese to a bowl. Next coat the chicken with the crumb mixture and place on sprayed baking sheet. Add salt and pepper to the tops and place into oven. Bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on how thick your chicken breast are. While baking, boil spaghetti noodles and warm the spaghetti sauce in a pan. Once chicken is done I always spoon on sauce to the top and add my provolone cheese. Put the trays back into oven (with oven off) and let cheese melt while it’s still warm.
While cheese it melting it’s time to plate it all up! Place noodles onto the plate and add sauce. Next place a piece of the chicken to the top! That’s it, your done and it was super easy!!
To switch it up you can add the parmesan chicken and sauce to a hoagie bun for a sandwich. Or you can add to a pile of mashed potatoes. Enjoy!!
